We are a high-quality, high-volume, low-cost spay/neuter nonprofit organization seeking a motivated DVM to join our compassionate, mission-driven team. No prior high-volume spay/neuter experience required—we will train you.
This position is ideal for veterinarians who:
Want hands-on surgical experience
Value mentorship and structured learning
Are passionate about companion animal welfare and community impact
Position Expectations:
Perform high-quality spay and neuter surgeries with training and mentorship
Participate in limited shelter medicine duties supporting local shelters and rescues
Deliver compassionate, efficient care in a fast-paced but supportive surgical setting
Work collaboratively with the entire team
Maintain accurate medical records and follow established medical protocols
Obtain and maintain:
Georgia veterinary license
DEA registration
USDA accreditation (assistance provided)
Schedule & Work-Life Balance:
Four-day work week
Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
No weekends
No on-call or emergency duties
Predictable hours that support personal time, family life, and long-term career sustainability
