Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from a CAPTE-accredited program.
- Active Virginia PTA license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross preferred.
- Experience working in skilled nursing facility or long-term care settings preferred.
- Ability to document treatments and patient progress in medical records per facility, state, and federal requirements.
- New graduates welcome; clinical supervision and orientation available.
