Job Summary:
A Sleep Technician position is available in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. This role involves performing diagnostic sleep testing, including PAP therapy titration, patient check-in, equipment setup, and data collection in a sleep laboratory setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. Experience and certifications aligned with professional standards are required for consideration.

- Required Qualifications: Sleep Tech trained with a minimum of 1 year experience. Specific licensures and certifications, including Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) and Basic Life Support (BLS).

- Additional Information: Located in the lower level of a clinic off campus from the main hospital. The unit has a 10-bed sleep lab, with two beds suitable for pediatric testing. All patients are managed with a 2:1 tech ratio unless younger than 3 years old, then 1:1. The facility utilizes computerized charting, Natus XLTech Sleep Works, and ResMed S9 Devices. Employees will undergo modified EMR training with one shift of orientation with another sleep technician. The facility has a secured entrance, no cafeteria, and parking is immediately outside. The lab may cancel up to 12 hours every 13 weeks. Shifts may not be consecutive and could include split shifts.
