Allied Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available
Opportunity:
Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR
Job Details:
• Work 3x12 hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Call requirement of 90-120 hours in a 6-week schedule
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• Travel experience preferred (first time travelers accepted with Level 1 Trauma experience)
• Required certifications: BCLS and NBSTSA
• Must have experience with vascular and thoracic surgery cases
• Specialized procedures include receiving pump lines from perfusion and preparing for cannulation
• Advanced cardiac procedures: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Atherectomy, Atrial Septal defect repair, Cardiomyoplasty, Carotid Endarterectomy
• Complex surgeries: Coronary Artery Bypass Graft, Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, EVAR, Femoral popliteal bypass graft
• Advanced interventions: Laparoscopic Cardiac Surgery, Mitral valve replacement, Pericardial window, Robotic Assisted Cardiac Surgery
• Critical procedures: TAVR, TEVAR, Ventricular Assist Device, Heart & Lung Transplant, Valve Replacement, Aortic Dissection
• Treat patients across age groups: adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Floating required within hospital or to affiliated hospitals nearby
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
