Description

Research Analyst (Beck, Mack & Oliver LLC DBA Beck Mack + Oliver; New York, New York): Conduct due diligence, prepare financial models, and do special projects as directed by the firm’s portfolio managers. Independently perform investigative-type research (i.e., tracking down and interviewing key customers, competitors, suppliers, and former employees of the companies that Beck Mack + Oliver is researching). Conduct technical research and understand and interpret data to drive investment decisions. Analyze companies’ profitability with quantitative and qualitative methods. Conduct a deep dive valuation of multiple publicly traded companies with a goal of providing high returns and diverse portfolio allocation. Thoroughly understand the products and services of the targeted companies to evaluate the future of the industry and the company. Perform industry and market research to produce detailed financial reports and recommendations of prospective equity investments.
 

5-10% domestic travel expected.

Salary: $87,850 to $131,500 per year
