Join KPMG's Technology Consulting practice as a Consultant or Senior Consultant, focusing on IT Strategy. You will play a crucial role in assisting clients to develop forward-thinking IT strategies that enhance business value and improve IT service efficiency. We are a dedicated group of professionals who value both the challenges of our work and the camaraderie among team members.
Key Responsibilities
You will collaborate with fellow consultants on a variety of IT strategy and architecture topics. Each project presents its unique challenges, but you can expect to deliver technology consulting projects in areas such as:
- Formulating comprehensive digital and IT strategies with a focus on Enterprise Architecture.
- Designing and architecting IT solutions that align with client's strategic business objectives and optimise resource utilisation.
- Developing enterprise architecture frameworks and blueprints to support IT-enabled business models.
- Providing expert guidance on the integration of emerging technologies, including AI, blockchain, and cloud, into clients' existing architectures.
- Conducting IT due diligence with a focus on architectural assessments to inform strategic decision-making.
- Leading the design and planning of IT capabilities and organisational structures to support strategic goals.
- Support and drive the project delivery, offering strategic recommendations to clients.
- Lead client-facing workshops, interviews, and discussions focused on architectural alignment with business priorities.
- Effectively manage workstreams and projects, ensuring the delivery of architecturally sound, client-ready outcomes.
- Support business development activities, including proposal development, thought leadership, and participation in marketing events.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, while expanding your professional network.
- Stay informed on emerging industry trends and leading practices in enterprise architecture and technology innovation.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline; a Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of consulting or relevant experience in IT strategy development, digital transformation, or enterprise architecture implementation.
- Strong understanding and experience in enterprise architecture design, IT operating models, and infrastructure.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all organisational levels.
- Self-driven and capable of working under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Preferably hold technical certifications such as Azure, AWS, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Cantonese, Mandarin Chinese, and English is a must, with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
