JOB TITLE: Brand Licensing Coordinator
LOCATION: New York, NY
REPORTS TO: SVP Brand Management
TYPE: Full-Time, In-office 4 Days per Week
SALARY RANGE: $65,000 - $75,000 annually

POSITION SUMMARY
The Brand Licensing Coordinator supports the day-to-day administrative and operational workflows of the Licensing team — managing trackers and calendars, coordinating the product approval process, maintaining the sample program, and supporting cross-functional partners across design, sales, and marketing.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Licensing Operations
- Maintain department trackers, calendars, and licensee contact/resource libraries.
- Coordinate recurring meetings — agendas, materials, and follow-up notes — and track action items and milestones.
- Support new licensee onboarding.
Sample Management & Showroom Operations
- Manage the sample program end-to-end: receipt, inventory, storage, and distribution across all categories.
- Coordinate sample requests and shipping (domestic/international) for marketing, PR, retail, and executive needs.
- Maintain the showroom and merchandising displays; conduct routine inventory audits and flag process improvements.
Product Development & Brand Assurance
- Own the seasonal Product Development calendar, coordinating milestone dates with licensees and internal teams.
- Review product submissions (concepts, samples, packaging, artwork/logos) for brand and legal compliance; flag issues and escalate as needed.
- Attend key PD/market meetings and provide summary notes; gather seasonal
- line sheets and pricing from licensees.
Marketing & Sales Support
- Build sales/retailer presentations and internal decks (Microsoft Office, Canva) in line with brand standards.
- Maintain presentation templates, imagery, and brand assets.
- Coordinate marketing assets and samples for retailer meetings, photoshoots, and social/PR initiatives.
- Coordinate the annual Licensee Summit — timelines, trackers, materials, logistics.
- Support trade shows, market weeks, and other special projects as assigned.
- Coordinate all operational aspects of live commerce events, including scheduling, travel arrangements, talent logistics, sample preparation and management, on-site event support, and post-event sample organization.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Relevant internship experience or academic coursework in merchandising, brand management, licensing, or marketing.
- Excellent written/oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner.
- Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
- Passion for the product is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat and Canva.
- Position requires 10% travel to live commerce events.
