About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a skilled, motivated team player who will be focused on Optimization of the Mainframe Platform, identifying any potential inefficiencies and opportunities for improvements, reducing operational costs. Must be able to collaborate across teams, troubleshoot issues, identify solutions, implement and validate / monitor updates.
In this role, you will:
Lead or participate in high level technical concepts spanning technology and business
Develop specifications for complex infrastructure systems, design and test solutions
Contribute to the testing of business, application and technical infrastructure requirements
Drive solutions to reduce recovery
Design complex system upgrades
Resolve troublesome trends as they develop
Develop a long-range plan designed to resolve problems and prevent them from recurring
Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures, and work standards to ensure success
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
4+ years of experience with the z/OS and z/VM Operating Systems
4+ years of experience with large Mainframe environments
4+ years of experience with IBM Mainframe Hardware (z15, z16, z17)
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with SMF reporting
Experience with RMF
Experience with SCRT reporting
Experience with OMVS, USS, ishell, ZFS
Experience with zERT
Experience with Chargeback processing
Experience with Coupling Facilties, Db2 Data Sharing, WLM
Experience with CICS, IMS
Experience with Netview & GDPS
Microsoft Office Suite Tools, such as Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point
REXX programming experience
2+ years of experience with RACF
Job Expectations:
Flexibility to address incidents as needed 24 hours a day
Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed or scheduled
Ability to work on call as assigned
Ability to work additional hours as needed

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities. $119,000.00 - $206,000.00 Benefits
