Job Title: Temporary Office Support Specialist
Location: Wheatland Workforce Center
Pay Rate: $18.56 per hour
Schedule: Part-time, 20 hours per week (4 hours per day)
Duration: February 2026 – August 2026

Position Overview
The Temporary Office Support Specialist provides front-office and administrative support at the Wheatland Workforce Center. This role supports staff and clients by assisting with phone coverage, client intake, and basic data and file management while ensuring a positive customer service experience.
Key Responsibilities
Answer and route incoming phone calls professionally and courteously
Assist Unemployment Insurance (UI) clients by directing them to the UI phone system
Help walk-in clients with HIREWYO registration and basic navigation
File, organize, and shred documents according to retention policies
Enter data and case notes accurately into internal systems
Provide general clerical and administrative support
Perform other duties as assigned to support office operations
Qualifications
Strong customer service and communication skills
Basic computer skills and ability to learn office systems
Ability to work with the public in a professional and respectful manner
Attention to detail and ability to maintain organized records
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Dependable and able to work scheduled hours consistently
Work Environment
Office-based, public-facing role
Regular interaction with clients and center staff
Pay Details: $18.56 per hour
