What you will do:
- Proficient in Trimble Business Center
- Draft construction As-builts, basic plan sheets and other deliverables as needed
- Anility to read and understand construction plans and technical documents and have a strong understanding of design software packages
- Work independently to build accurate grading models based off on engineering plans ensuring design intent
- Experience with 3D design preferred
- Perform design calculations, quantity, and cost estimates and alignment and profile design
What You Will Bring:
- Associate degree in civil engineering, drafting, or a similar degree, or a combination of a high school diploma or equivalent, and 3-5 years of relevant construction experience.
- Ability to read and interpret design plans and make necessary assumptions maintaining design intent to create accurate grading and stakeout models
- Ability to listen to and understand contractor needs and ability in software to complete assigned tasks
- Ability to learn new software as dictated by project requirements and your team leaders
- Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic will allow you to excel in this position
- Ability to work 40 hours a week
- Ability to work in the posted locations
- Work is primarily performed in an office environment with standard office equipment, occasional travel or field visits may be required to support
