*JOB SUMMARY* The Director of HRIS and HR Platform Solutions plays a pivotal role in the Baylor Scott and White Health (BSWH) HR technology ecosystem and will provide visionary leadership in developing, executing, and overseeing the strategic roadmap for the organization's Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and integrated HR technology platforms. This senior role will partner with executive leadership, HR, IT, and cross-functional teams align HR technology initiatives with organizational objectives, drive digital transformation, and ensure world-class HR service delivery. The Director is accountable for the evaluation, implementation, optimization, and ongoing governance of all HR systems and solutions. *ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE* ESSENTIAL FUNCTION OF THE ROLE Manage system upgrades, ensuring data accuracy and compliance, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing insights through HR data analytics. Develop, communicate, and execute a multi-year strategic roadmap for HRIS and HR platform solutions, ensuring alignment with the organization's business goals and talent strategy. Define and assist with the execution of an AI transformation strategy, ensuring alignment between AI tools and platforms across various functions. Provide leadership and direction to the HR technology teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Oversee administration, configuration, and maintenance of the company's HRIS and integrated HR platforms, ensuring data integrity, security, and scalability. Collaborate with HR, IT, and business leaders to identify business needs, prioritize technology initiatives, and deliver high-impact solutions that enhance employee experience and HR operational efficiency. Develop business cases for technology investments, including ROI analysis and implementation planning. Lead organization-wide HRIS and HR platform implementation projects, including vendor selection, contract negotiations, requirements gathering, change management, and post-implementation support. Establish standards and best practices for HR data management, reporting, and analytics; deliver actionable insights through advanced dashboards and data visualization tools. Ensure compliance with all data privacy laws, internal policies, and industry regulations related to HR data and technology. Monitor HR technology trends and emerging solutions; champion adoption of innovative tools to sustain the organization's competitive advantage. Manage budgets, resources, and vendor relationships for all HRIS and HR platform initiatives. *KEY SUCCESS FACTORS* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred. 7+ years of progressive experience in HRIS and HR technology platforms, including at least 3 years in a people management or leadership role. Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, project management, and organizational transformation in HR technology. Extensive experience with major HRIS and HR platforms (e.g., PeopleSoft, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, ADP, BambooHR, etc.). Demonstrated experience managing complex system implementations and upgrades. Superior analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence executive decision-making. Proven track record in HR data governance, compliance, and digital change management. Commitment to data accuracy, confidentiality, and continuous professional development.
