Primary responsibilities for Automotive Mechanics include:
Maintain vehicle functional condition by working from repair orders and conducting inspections
Repair mechanical and electrical system malfunctions and replace parts and components
Read, interpret, and follow service procedures
Maintain vehicle records by entering notes, service details, and repair orders
Keep shop equipment operating by following instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventive maintenance, and coordinating repairs
Participate in daily shop organization and clean-up
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a mechanic
Certificate in Automotive Technology or a related field (preferred)
ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) Certification(s) (preferred)
State Mechanic Certification(s) (preferred)
Possesses own tools, including a rolling toolbox
Proficient in mechanical assembly and operation of shop equipment
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Flexible availability, including overtime and weekends as needed
Ability to read, interpret, and execute written procedures

Pay Details: $23.00 per hour
