Wilkes University invites applicants for a tenure track Assistant/Associate Professor of Finance in the Sidhu School of Business and Leadership.  The successful candidate for this position will be able to teach traditional undergraduate, adult, and graduate courses in Finance in both a face-to-face and online delivery methods.  The candidate should demonstrate a strong understanding of both millennial and adult learning styles and motivation; skills in the assessment, advising and mentoring of learners and, the ability to deal effectively with individual differences in ability, personality and interests. Faculty members carry a four-course load per semester, with research and service expectations.

Applicants are required to hold earned doctorate degree (Ph.D. or DBA preferred) in Finance, or a related field of business with teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or undergraduate level. The degree should be from an AACSB accredited institution. The ideal candidate will also have a demonstrated commitment to scholarly activity. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. ABD candidates will be considered with a demonstrated capability of completing the degree by August 2020. The position start date will be for the Fall semester of 2020.
